You will ensure that CCHS has an effective Business Strategy and supporting processes. You will be an important member of a Team that ensures that our services are delivered to a high quality, are cost effective, efficient and are able to deliver to the outcomes determined by our Commissioners.
This Assistant Director will work directly to the Director of Operations and will be responsible not only for developing this entire suite of services across Walsall but also looking to develop links with other providers across the region and beyond to grow this business.
You will develop and lead the service improvement agenda, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer to continuously improve services, promoting excellence and efficiency. You will also identify best practice, nationally and internationally and ensure that this is embedded into the Trust’s strategies and practice.
The postholder will also lead on the Trusts finance and performance reporting to Trust Board, Finance Committee and Hospital Management Board, is finance lead for the Trusts savings programme and produces the Trust financial plan, working closely with the Director of Planning on the Trusts business planning processes as well as leading the Trusts Divisional Finance teams.
This is an opportunity to utilise your organisational change management experience to shape and develop the newly formed Specialist Services Division in partnership with the Clinical Director, and working closely with the Director of Operations and Service Delivery. The Division has many service development opportunities working with our specialist teams and our health and social care colleagues.
This is one of two second-level finance posts within the Directorate. The post-holder is responsible for all aspects of management of a specified area of the Directorate and in conjunction with the Deputy Director of Finance and the Director of Finance & Information, ensures the development and maintenance of a high quality finance function that is consistent with, and responsive to, Trust objectives.
You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the Primary Care and Capital Planning function and for developing and ensuring the implementation of strategies to assist the PCT in delivering its Corporate objectives. The post holder will play a key role in the development of services in Primary Care by ensuring that there is a robust framework for Commissioning and Contracting the full range of Primary Care Services and also that the PCT has an Estate that meets the needs of our service strategies.
