This role is not your average 9-5. If you have ambitions to become a SharePoint consultant, this position will really help you achieve your goals. The main purpose of this role is to roll out the Interwoven Teamsite Content Management System (CMS) across all of the Premier Farnell MDD websites. Enable migration of existing content into CMS, and create the the templates, site structure and workflows to enable new content to be created directly in CMS by broad based user group.
The job is fast paced, requires very deep MySQL database technical skills, and involves frequent travel across Europe to work with some of our major Enterprise clients and new startups to undertake hands-on advanced DBA work, Performance Tuning, High Availability, Scale-Out and Architecture & Design on-site.
This role will be the focal point for all delivery related technical questions for Sun's Delivery Partners and Sun Learning Services (SLS) employees in SEE. It supports the partners in understanding and setting up the technical infrastructure, and building and accrediting the required instructor base, as well as keeping them and the SLS team up to date on new SLS and Sun products and versions.
