Perform Aerothermal analysis on all aspects of design and development of seal elements for industrial turbine application. The primary focus is on the development of highly efficient, cost effective and reliable sealing technologies for application to steam and gas turbines.
Preparation of technical proposals for extended scope retrofit projects consisting of upgrades to turbine cylinders and other turbine island auxiliary equipment, in a single fully integrated package to meet customer requirements.
Work within the R&L Team to produce the rolling programe of works,monitor works progress and costs against project plans and forecasts. Utilise the Amey RED-AMBER -GREEN rating system as an early warning indicator on schemes and liason with Project Sponsors.
To build a strong, technically competent, respected and world-class team of initially 10 engineers and technical specialists in the disciplines of plant systems engineering, thermodynamic cycle analysis, costing, controls & instrumentation.

The IPR Manager will be responsible for assuring that Service Delivery can achieve this objective reducing the risk of IP dependencies on external parties. By setting up and managing appropriate processes, activities and controls, the IPR Manager will ensure an effective IP management within Service Delivery and that Contractors deliver against their obligations

To manage the delivery of developed systems in an assured and timely manner. Act as the interface between the Verification and Validation team and the engineering department.
Responsible for all service delivery, including emergency response and operation of OCR, all maintenance services and scheme delivery, programming and road space booking, and AIMS and inspection management.
Manage and co-ordinate projects from within the Group IT department to support the activities of the Amey business. Including planning for operational and strategic changes, gathering business requirements and analysis, project planning, organising and negotiating the allocation of resources.
Support the Plant Office through the design and development efficient, dynamic applications, including software, databases, date warehouses and interfaces.
